Account Executive (Consultant)
Employee Benefits

The Account Executive’s primary function is to support the Team Leader and provide outstanding customer service to the clients.  Account Executives are responsible to:

  • Determine whether the existing client programs are accomplishing their intended objectives
  • Verify whether the programs comply with government regulations
  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of existing programs, including plan design
  • Evaluate the program, considering the current trends and the competitive labor market
  • Review the current benefits to eliminate duplication of coverage under the program
  • Determine whether cost reductions or benefit enhancements could be achieved through an alternative funding method
  • Proactive Renewal Negotiations & Communication
  • Evaluate the types of plans available to meet objectives
  • Advise clients regarding alternative plans and programs, alternative benefits levels and suggested plan provisions
  • Assist companies in defining their objectives
  • Assist in selecting the carrier that best meets the financial and service requirements of our clients
  • Discuss the proposed program with company management and its professional advisors
  • Tactically managing and facilitate the execution of the Annual Service Plan with the Hauser team, insurance carriers, and clients
  • Review costs, plan documents, contracts, riders and certificates, booklets and summary plan descriptions to assist clients when considering benefits changes

Role Essentials

  • High School Diploma
  • 7-9 years of sales experience in the health solutions industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

Role Desirables

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Art or Science

You will report to a Vice President of Employee Benefits.
